The Fairview Bureau of Fire Safety is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community by enforcing fire safety regulations, conducting inspections & promoting fire prevention education. Our mission is to reduce the risk of fire & safeguard lives and property within the Borough of Fairview.
Services we provide:
- Fire Inspections: Conducting routine inspections of residential, commercial and industrial properties to ensure compliance with local & state fire codes.
- Fire Permits: Processing applications for required fire permits for events, open burning and other activities.
- Fire Prevention Education: Offering resources and educational programs to raise awareness about fire safety practices.
- Smoke Alarm Compliance: Ensuring homes and businesses are equipped with properly functioning smoke & carbon monoxide detectors
- Illegal Apartment Investigations: Identifying and addressing illegal apartment setups that pose significant fire safety risks to residents and neighboring properties
