The deadline to apply for property tax relief is February 28th, 2023. Eligible New Jersey homeowners and renters can receive up to $1,500. Don’t wait — submit your application today!
To be eligible for this benefit, you must have occupied your primary residence on October 1st, 2019. You must also file (or be exempt from) NJ income taxes.
· Homeowners with income of $250,000 or less are eligible
· Renters and tenants with income of $150,000 or less are eligible

If you have already submitted your ANCHOR application, it is being processed and no further action is needed. You can find out the status of your application on the Division of Taxation website. Current ANCHOR program applicants are filing for the 2019 benefit and should select "2019" to check the status of their applications.
Checks will be mailed or direct deposited to successful applicants in late Spring 2023.
