Information
Primary Elections are ordinarily held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in June. The primary is held to nominate party candidates for the General Election and to elect party members of the State & County Committees and Delegates and Alternate Delegates to the National Conventions in Presidential Election Years. Polls for Primary Elections are open 6AM-8PM. General Elections are held on the 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November to elect various National, State, County & Municipal Officials to Office. The polls for this election are open from 6AM-8PM. School Elections are held annually on the 3rd Tuesday in April to elect Board of Education Members. The polls for this election are open from 2PM-9PM.

- District 1 – Grandview Firehouse, 59 Anderson Avenue
- District 2 - Tiger Hose Firehouse, 221 Sedore Avenue
- District 3 – Walker Street Firehouse, 367 Walker Street
- District 4 – Lincoln School Annex, 130 Hamilton Avenue
- District 5 – School No. 3, 403 Cliff Street
- District 6 – Eastview Towers, 370 Fairview Avenue
Become a Poll Worker
The Bergen County Board of Elections is currently looking for poll workers for the elections. You can apply to serve as a poll worker if you:
- Are a US Citizen & a resident of New Jersey
- Registered to vote in Bergen County, 18 & over
- Are not running as a candidate in this election
- Are at least 16 years of age
- Minors can only work 11AM to 7PM and will be compensated accordingly Please be sure to fill out the application in its entirety. All information being asked for is required for your application to be processed.
- If you are a current poll worker you do not have to fill out the application again. Please call the office to make sure we have all your information.
